Training

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the UK's largest dog training program, promoting responsible dog ownership by teaching owners to train their dogs for everyday life situations

There are four levels to the program, each one developing an owners understanding, while building a dog's confidence and levels of domestic obedience skills

Training is open to all dogs, young or old, pedigree or crossbreed, Kennel Club registered or not

The Puppy Foundation Course costs £30 for a 6-8 week course and for two weeks into the next level. Thereafter training costs £3 per week, as for all other groups. All handlers must be members of the club

All training is carried out by our experienced trainers in an outdoor environment enabling your dog to experience distractions they would not encounter indoors

With a dog behaviourist and a variety of dogs to socialise with, your dog can overcome any issue

We are presently training on Sunday afternoons from 2:30 to 3:15 pm. The last Sunday training is on 7th April. We then move to Monday evenings on 15th April starting at 7:15 pm to 8:00 pm.Evening training on Monday 22nd April will commence at 7:30 pm to 8:15pm, which are the normal training times.

There will be no training over on Mothers Day 10th March, Easter on 31st March and the Bank holidays on 6th and 27th May
